Squidge is a show from Wriggle Dance Theatre that explores our sense of touch through dance, interactive props, projection and music. For 3-8 year olds and their grown ups. I designed the set and costumes in 2020. The show was designed to be to tourable with Covid-19 restrictions in place whilst still being interactive and tactile - a challenge! We created a film version of the show, which toured with in special screenings. Each audience 'pod' contained illuminating boxes that signalled moments to explore the props contained inside. Once restrictions eased, a live version of the show toured in 2022.
