Postcards Home was a commission from Battersea Arts Centre to celebrate its 30th Birthday. I invited past audiences, artists, visitors, staff a friends of BAC to send me a postcard recounting their memories of the building and their journeys taken from there as a starting point. It was in important project for me as BAC is a home for me in so may ways. It has been an integral part in my development as an artist, but also a place I have formed close friendships, found sanctuary and called home in times of need. It was a deep pleasure to collect stories from people with similar experiences of such a special building.
