With Kit Theatre for Scarborough Museums and Galleries, this is a project that forms part of the travelling collection for the Museums and Galleries. Created from the perspective of an avid fan and collector of George Cayley's life and work. A Scarborough resident, George Cayley was a significant and often untold character in the story of early aviation. I designed and made this bespoke travelling cabinet. It contains a model of one of Cayley's flying machines as well as secret compartments full of curios to bring his story to life on the classroom.
