I was Assistant Designer with Myriddin Wannell for Nigel and Louises' Basement Grotto at Shoreditch Town Hall for Christmas 2014. Working collaboratively and site-specifically, we made a cheekily subversive and rebellious grotto in the basement spaces of the town hall. The audiences ventured through portals to The North Pole, Santa's House and eventually to find Father Christmas himself asleep on a cloud.
