Over the August Bank Holiday 2012, Wildworks brought Ark-ive to the National Theatre’s Theatre Square. A space in the belly of a ghostly ship where audiences were invited to question humans’ relationships with animals. The inside of the ship was divided into three sections; the animals in our homes, in our minds minds and encounters in the wild. I worked on this project as a Maker and curated the ‘animals in our minds’ section, The Bestiary. This included making a wolf woman, La Loba, from bones collected under Blackfriars Bridge that became a provocation for a storytelling exchange. I was also part of the team of ‘clerks’ who engaged with the public, gathering their stories and contributions over the weekend.
