A work with Hazel Anderson and Likely Story Theatre, supported by Arts Council England, Battersea Arts Centre and National Theatre Wales WalesLab. A project to challenge our views about risk, play and adventure. A show that begun with the story of Paper Bag Girl and her search for courage.

We have found ourselves in forests, scrapyards, up trees, down slate mines and in many, many playgrounds - asking ourselves "Where have all the playgrounds gone?".

We are making a show that will engage its audience in wild, messy, building/making based play and fierce, necessary storytelling.

Almost Always Muddy toured with the Collaborative Touring Network in Autumn 2017.
